Cup Pong

Bounce balls into cups

A ball at one end of the table, a formation of cups at the other, and one swipe to connect them. Cup Pong lives on the arc: swipe length sets the power, swipe direction sets the angle, and the ball either drops in or rattles out. Sink a cup and it leaves the table.

How to play

Playing Cup Pong

  1. 1

Swipe forward from the ball to throw it; a longer swipe sends it farther down the table.

  2. 2

Angle the swipe left or right to line the flight path up with the cup you want.

  3. 3

Sink a ball and that cup is removed, so the rack thins out as you go.

  4. 4

Bounce a ball off the table first to reach a near cup on a flatter path.

  5. 5

Miss and the ball is spent, so a run lasts only as long as your throws do.

  6. 6

Clear the whole rack to score the round, then compare the total on the global leaderboard.

Tactics

Three ways to get better at Cup Pong

  • Aim at the back rim

The near lip of a cup kicks a ball straight back at you. Target the far rim instead. A shot that carries slightly long still catches that edge and drops, which turns overthrows into makes rather than misses.

  • Bounces need more power

A ball loses speed the moment it hits the table, so a bounce shot needs a harder swipe than an arc at the same cup. Save bounces for the front row, where a high arc has to fall into a very tight window.

  • Start from the same spot

Begin every swipe at the same point on the screen. Power and angle are then your only two variables, and a miss tells you exactly which one was wrong. A drifting start hides that information from you.

Inside Reel Games

Cup Pong in the swipe feed

One swipe up the feed and the cups are racked, with no loading screen in between. Because the game runs on your phone instead of streaming from somewhere, a round survives airplane mode, an elevator, or a basement with no signal. Nothing plays between throws either. The app carries no ads, so a missed rack restarts right away.

Good for the ten minutes before a haircut appointment.
