A word sits hidden behind blanks. You call out letters one at a time, and every correct guess fills in every place that letter appears. Wrong guesses cost you, and the clock keeps moving either way. The whole game is deciding which letter to spend your next guess on.
How to play

Read the row of blanks at the top: each one stands for a single hidden letter.

Tap a letter in the on-screen alphabet to guess it, and every matching blank fills in at once.

Expect a penalty for every miss: a wrong letter adds another piece to the drawing.

Beat the clock as well as the figure, because time running out ends the round the same way.
- 5
Spell out the full word to win the round, and your score posts to the global leaderboard once you are online.
- 6
Swipe up when you are done to move on to the next game in the feed.
Tactics
Three ways to get better at Hangman
Open with vowels
Almost every English word has a vowel within the first three letters. Spending your first two or three guesses on E, A, and O usually reveals the skeleton, and the pattern of gaps tells you more than a lucky consonant would.
Let length pick the letter
E is the most common letter overall, but not in every word. In three and four letter words, A tends to pull ahead, and short words lean on O and U more than long ones do. Count the blanks before you commit.
Work the tail first
Once the vowels are placed, look at the end of the word. English leans on a few endings: ING, ED, ES, LY, ION. A single guess at N or S can open three blanks at once. And a visible Q hands you U for free.
