Maze 3D

Find your way out from inside the maze

Most maze puzzles hand you the whole layout from above. Maze 3D takes that away. You stand in the corridors and see only what is in front of you, so the map has to be built in your head as you walk it. Every junction is a decision made on partial information.

How to play

Playing Maze 3D

  1. 1

Look down the corridor ahead, then move forward until a wall or a branching passage stops you.

  2. 2

Turn left or right at each junction; the view rotates with you, so watch which way you came from.

  3. 3

Back out of dead ends right away and return to the last junction you had a choice at.

  4. 4

Keep a rough count of your turns so you can tell a new corridor from one you already walked.

  5. 5

Reach the exit to clear the maze, then swipe up for the next game or replay for a cleaner route.

Tactics

Three ways to get better at Maze 3D

  • Hold one wall

The left hand rule solves any maze whose walls all connect to the outside: keep your left side glued to a wall through every turn and dead end. It never finds the shortest path, but it never leaves you lost.

  • Mark junctions in your head

When a maze has loops, wall hugging can circle forever. Track each passage you use: always prefer an unmarked one, take a once used passage only to back out, and never take one you have used twice.

  • Turn in place first

From a junction, rotate the view down each branch before you commit. A corridor that ends in a wall is often visible from where you already stand, and looking is faster than walking there and back.

Inside Reel Games

Maze 3D in the swipe feed

Maze 3D sits in the same vertical feed as everything else in the app. Swipe once and you are standing in the corridors, with nothing to wait through first. The maze runs on the phone itself, so a tunnel, a plane, or a dead zone changes nothing. Finish a run and the next one starts clean, with no ad in between.

Good for the last stretch of a subway ride underground.
