Pool
Pocket every ball on the table
Pool is a game of angles played with one moving ball. You aim the cue ball, set your power, and send it into a numbered ball so that ball rolls toward a pocket. The table is the whole puzzle: every shot you take decides where the cue ball sits for the next one.

How to play
Playing Pool
- 1
Drag back from the cue ball to set your line, then release to take the shot.
- 2
Pull farther for more power; a short pull rolls the cue ball gently down the table.
- 3
Hit an object ball so it travels into a pocket, then repeat until the table is clear.
- 4
Watch where the cue ball stops, because that spot is the starting point for your next shot.
- 5
Pocket the cue ball and you scratch, which ends the run you were building.
- 6
Clear every ball to finish the rack, then compare your score on the global leaderboards.
Tactics
Three ways to get better at Pool
Aim at the ghost ball
Picture a ball resting against the object ball, directly opposite the pocket. Send the cue ball's center at that phantom spot. Aiming straight at the object ball itself is the most common miss in pool.
Soft beats hard
Power scatters the rack and rattles balls out of the jaws. A slow roll drops shots that a hard hit refuses, and it leaves the cue ball close to where you aimed it instead of three rails away.
Read the tangent line
On a cut struck with a sliding cue ball, the cue ball leaves at a right angle to the object ball's path. Add roll and it curves forward off that line instead. Trace the path you expect before you shoot, and you will know where you end up.
Inside Reel Games
Pool in the swipe feed
Pool sits in the same vertical feed as everything else in Reel Games. One swipe up brings the table in, already racked, with nothing to wait through. The whole game runs on your iPhone, so a tunnel or a plane does not stop a rack. Nothing interrupts you between shots either, since the app carries no ads.
Good for an unhurried ten minutes on the couch.
