A feed built for one thumb
The next game is always one swipe away
Reel Games is a library of mini games you work through with one thumb. The next game is a flick up from the one you are on, and it is running before your thumb leaves the glass. The download is 50.7 MB and the games run on the device. What you need is an iPhone on iOS 18.6 or later and one free hand.
Built for the thumb
A vertical feed is a one-handed interface

The gesture that moves you between games is a vertical swipe, which is the one motion a thumb can make without shifting your grip. There is no menu to reach across the screen for, no back button in the top left corner, and no grid of icons to aim at while standing on a train.
Everything else follows from that. Games run in portrait. Rounds are short enough to finish before your stop. Haptic feedback confirms a tap without you needing to look, which matters when the screen is only half of your attention.
The whole library is a 50.7 MB download, so installing it is a decision you make in a few seconds rather than one you defer until you are back on Wi-Fi.
It needs iOS 18.6 or later
The requirement is iOS 18.6 or later, and nothing older. To check, open Settings, then General, then About, and read the iOS Version line. If it is behind, run Software Update first. The App Store will tell you anyway, but it is faster to know before you tap Get.
If Software Update has nothing left to give that phone, this one is out of reach on it. Everything after the version check is undemanding. The app is free to download, 12 games are free with no credit card, and Reel Games Pro is a $3.99 monthly or $9.99 yearly purchase with a three-day trial you can cancel.
A vertical feed fits your thumb
Hold the phone the way you already hold it, thumb resting near the bottom of the screen. The feed is vertical, so the gesture that moves you to the next game is the same flick you use on any short-video app. Swipe back down and the game you left is there again. Nothing in the feed asks you to reach the far top corner or turn the phone sideways to get to the next game.
The phone answers back. Haptic feedback fires on interaction, so a game is not only something you look at. Held one-handed, that matters more than it sounds: your thumb is covering part of the display anyway, and a response you can feel tells you the tap registered. Small thing. It is part of why short rounds on a phone feel like anything at all.
50.7 MB on a phone that is already full
Storage is where most installs die. You tap Get, the phone asks which photos you would like to delete, and by the time you have thought about it you have decided the app was not that important. 50.7 MB does not start that conversation. It is a couple of minutes of video you shot last weekend, and it covers a library of more than forty games, because Snake and Sudoku and Checkers are rules and geometry rather than gigabytes of texture.
The number stays put because nothing arrives mid game. The games run on the device, which is why one launches the moment you swipe to it with no loading screen in between. New games are added regularly, so an update nudges the figure now and then. Nothing else does, and a phone down to its last gigabyte still has room for this.
A 50.7 MB download, a vertical feed, and one thumb. That is the whole setup.

Questions
iPhone questions
- What iPhone do I need to run Reel Games?
- Any iPhone running iOS 18.6 or later. That is the published requirement for the iPhone version. To check yours, open Settings, then General, then About. The download itself is 50.7 MB, so storage is rarely the blocker.
- How much storage does Reel Games take up?
- 50.7 MB at download. The games run on the device rather than streaming in, which is why they open with no loading screen between them, and why the size stays modest for a library of 40 plus games. New games are added regularly.
- Is Reel Games on Android?
- No. Reel Games is an Apple app: iPhone on iOS 18.6 or later, iPad on iPadOS 18.6 or later, Mac on macOS 15.6 or later with an M1 chip or later, and Apple Vision on visionOS 2.6 or later. There is no Android build and none is announced.
